WHO CARES CLUB SESSIONS: Ranhojičství - Zuzana Kubíková
Caring together for the cracks, warps, and worn patches of our cloths. Memory, effort, connection. Plus texts and guided imagination to anchor our time on Rello Island.
Bring a piece of fabric you’d like to work on. Needles, thread, buttons, and fabric for patches will be provided.
WHO CARES CLUB SESSIONS is a series of gatherings centered around the maintenance of minds, bodies, and things. A space for sharing activities, thoughts, experiences, dreams — as well as exhaustion and frustration. Together with invited guests, we will create collective situations throughout the year in which maintenance becomes not only work, but also rest, (self-)care, play, resistance, and communal coexistence.
The first session will be led by Zuzana Kubíková — co-founder and member of the design studio Ex Lovers, the project Svobodná dílna, and the studio of design and hacking at FaVU in Brno (AGD1). She wears her clothes until they fall apart. And when they do, she repairs them.
The session is an accompanying activity to the publication of the zine WHO CARES, whose first issue was published by 4AM in the summer of 2025. The zine addresses maintenance not only as a practical activity, but as a carrier of values, identities, and a means of building relations. Through contributions ranging from theoretical reflections to interviews, photo essays, and poetic texts, it explores activities that are often marginalized or automated, yet fundamentally shape our everyday lives.
